~ 01 MAR 06 Meeting News~

    New Business:
    - Cmdr Pape spoke to national president about AO of the year message. Format for the submittals will be the same as last year.
    - History book still on sale on National web site
    - History books will be sold at convention. Prices will be the same as I listed on website from Turner books.
    - New Red shirt publication is on website with updated convention info.
    - Jody Barnes asked on Jason Lewis's condition. Rumor is he was killed on an accident on the USS Kitty Hawk.
    - AO2 Sparks from NAS Fallon Weapons will be tasked with the care of John Finn and pick him up from the airport for the convention.
    - Motion was put on the table for a Spring garage sale. Motion was approved for Saturday May 20th 0800. Location will be forthcoming.

    Greetings from Ordnancetown USA,

    I would like to start out by saying happy 79th birthday to all of our Aviation Ordnance Family out there. Chapter 21 Celebrated with the Oldest (CDR Dave Lepard) and Youngest (AOAN Collin Hague) stationed here at Fallon Weapons with a cake cutting Ceremony. I would like to Congratulate AO1(AW/SW) Rex Gallino on being Elected President of Chapter 21 and myself AO2(AW) Allan Wright for being Elected Vice President.

    Congratulations to AO1 Bailey on being selected as AIMU Fallon's Senior Sailor of the Year and AIRPAC West Coast Sailor of the Year 1st Runner Up, AO2(AW) Sparks for being selected as NAS Fallon's Sailor of the Year and AO2 Turner for being Selected as the NAS Fallon's Navy League Female of the Year.

    I would like to thank all of our newest members for joining Chapter 21 and making the AAO the best and it is greatly appreciated. AOCM(AW/SW) COBB has added an Ordnance Town USA link under the AO tab of NKO and we invite everyone to check it out.

    The 2005 AAO symposium is fast approaching remember to register EARLY. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
